Boston Packing List

Striped Sweater (Similar) // Grey Sweater // White Denim // Barbour Jacket

Shirtdress // Sunglasses // Handbag // Sneakers // Jeans

We’re heading to Boston for Memorial Day weekend to celebrate a dear friend’s graduation from Brown University. The end of May is such a weird in between weather moment - it’s definitely not winter anymore, but its not quite summer either. We’re expecting some clouds and maybe even a little rain in the forecast, so layers are a must.

So here’s what I’m bringing:

1. Striped JCrew Sweater + White Wide-Leg Denim

These were both amazing Poshmark finds! I love the thrill of the hunt on that site - there’s something so satisfying about scoring a great piece at a great price. The jeans feel like a fresh start for summer (Memorial Day = official white denim kickoff, right?) and the sweater is perfect for those in-between temps.

2. Jenni Kayne Cashmere Sweater

This was a splurge, but totally worth it. The cashmere is unbelievely soft and it’s one of those forever pieces I know I’ll wear for the next twenty years. It’s the kind of piece that makes even jeans feel special.

3. Barbour Jacket

A thoughtful Christmas gift from Ryan a few years back and still one of my most worn pieces. It’s classic, waterproof and always makes me feel a little more pulled together - rain or shine.

4. Easy Shirtdress

A go-to for casual brunch or even graduation celebrations where I want to feel a little more put together. Easy to throw on, comfortable and great with sneakers or sandals depending on the weather.

5. Veja Sneakers

Walking friendly and stylish - these are ideal for city strolls and campus tours. I love how they pair with both jeans and dresses.

6. YSL Bag from Vivrelle

This is my first time trying Vivrelle, a site where you can rent designer accessories. I’m excited to test it out with this chic YSL crossbody - it’s the perfect size. It feels fun to try something luxe without the full commitment (or price tag).

If you’d like to try it out for yourself, here is my referral code: 3377F040 to earn $100 in credits.

7. Sunglasses + Dark Wash Jeans

Dark wash jeans for chiller moments and sunglasses for when the sun peaks through. I love having pieces that all mix and match easily - it makes packing light that much easier.

I’m already daydreaming about the lobster roll I’ll eat (priorities), but mostly I’m just really excited to celebrate such a big moment with friends. Here’s to exploring a new city, good company and a well-packed carry on.

All is well,

H
